Blind Sports NSW granted 22-seater bus through Variety Sunshine Coaches Program!

Blind Sports NSW held a Special General Meeting on 31st August 2019, after the Executive proposed a motion to purchase a 22-seater mini-bus through the Variety Sunshine Coaches program. Blind Sports NSW members voted in favour of the initiative and we are pleased to announce that the last of the details are now being finalised with Variety - the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT, and we hope to obtain the keys to the bus in the near future!

The Variety Sunshine Coaches program provides transport to organisations that cater for children with physical disability, regional or social disadvantage, to enable them to access the community and to experience a range of special programs and activities.

Blind Sports NSW is excited to offer transport services for our affiliate member sports and individual members, to breakdown barriers and provide greater access to ongoing youth oriented camps, sport and recreation opportunities, including the rollout of the Youth and Adult Excursion (YAE) program.
