Blind Sports and Recreation NSW/ACT have many events and programs across the year ranging from primary schools visits all the way through to National Championships in various Blind and Low Vision Sports. Some of these events include:

• School Programs: High 5 For Fun & University Inclusion Gala Days
• Multi Sport Festivals 
• Holiday, Summer & Winter Camps
• Social Recreational Club Activities
• Inter-regional and State Training Sessions & Comps for Affiliate Sports including National Champs
• Bus Driver for a 22-seat mini bus

Volunteer experience at sporting events/programs and working with people with blindness and low vision is preferred.

All volunteers need to have a Working with Children Check. 

Being a volunteer with Blind Sports and Rec NSW/ACT means you go into the running to be recognised as a NSW Volunteer of the Year at the NSW Community Sports Awards hosted by Sport NSW.
